Desire. Hard work. Belief.

That is all you need to join Raffles Soccer. Even if you have no prior experience in the sport (as most of our members do not), you will very easily find your place in this CCA.

We have CCA sessions three times a week, with physical training on Mondays and ball trainings on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4.30-7.30pm. Training is challenging, but always fun.

Physical training sessions will bring you closer to your teammates as you push yourself to your limits with the support of those around you. Ball sessions will first focus on individual skills, like passing and trapping, and will soon move towards team skills as you will learn to work together as a unit that relies and trusts one another. You will definitely get muddy sometimes and probably fall down here and there, but there is never any shortage of laughter as you work your way through learning a new sport with other beginners.

Once you start in the sport, you will soon find that you will always be itching to play and there are countless opportunities for you to do so. Apart from the weekly sessions, we have many friendly matches against other schools over the course of the year where everyone gets a chance to play. And if that’s not enough, there is always time after to school to meet up with your teammates to just kick a ball around!

Outside of the game, you will be spending a lot of time with a great bunch of girls. We have regular team dinners, birthday celebrations and you will definitely build many long-lasting friendships. Also, we can assure you that your seniors will be super cool.

As a soccer girl, you will belong to a strong community that is dedicated towards helping you succeed. Our coaches, Mr. Leong and Mr. Man, will spare no effort in ensuring that you will continuously improve and excel. As an added bonus, you will also get to know many past soccer girls (a.k.a. ‘ancestors’) who regularly come down to train and help us improve.

At the end of the day, we can all say with certainty that you will not regret the decision to join Raffles Soccer. By joining this CCA, you will be welcomed into a dedicated, close-knit, and fun-loving family that will stick together far beyond your time in this school. And even if you’re still skeptical, just come down for our trials and see for yourself! Our only requirement is that you are willing to put yourself out there: to try something new and give your all for the team and for the sport.
